President’s Greeting
Welcome to the Florida State Assembly:
I want to announce that for personal reasons, Kevin Browne has resigned as President of the Florida State Assembly. We are thankful for his service and dedication to our organization. He will be missed and wish him well in his future endeavors. It is an honor to serve as your President and I am appointing Libby McNaron as Vice-President until elections are held this September. There will be other positions open to serve in the assembly as well. You are invited to contact us and ask how you can serve.

Your Florida State Assembly is lead by voluntary, dedicated, and committed individuals that share the same vision and goals for our profession.
Whether you are a seasoned, experienced, novice, an instructor, or a surgical technology student; I urge you to get involved in your organization. Attend the meetings and workshops; stay up to date with the latest technology and legislative information in Surgical Technology, not only in Florida but in other states as well. An informed member is a very valuable asset to our mission. When it comes to it; it is the patient who deserves it.
