Welcome to our website.

Thank you for your interest in the Florida State Assembly of the Association of Surgical Technologists. We are dedicated to enhance the profession of Surgical Technology and to improve our skills through continuing education.

I welcome those of you who are new to us, whether you are a student or prospective member, and invite you to attended one of our educational sessions.

I also extend an open invitation to all Surgical Technologists to join us and participate in this organization. Give us your input about what you want your organization to accomplish.

There are many ways we can make this organization work better, but it will take each and every one of us to make this happen.

Congratulations to the Florida State Assembly on becoming the second state in the country to go over 2,000 members, joining the Texas State Assembly.

The AST staff has recently completed our end of month membership counts, and as of April 30, 2008 your membership is now 2,049.
